The Ashe County Farmers’ Market will be reopening to host their very special holiday editions starting the last weekend in November. You’ll be able to purchase handmade and homegrown gifts such as jams and jellies, wreaths and roping, and much more. This is a great opportunity to shop local this holiday season.

Also on Saturday, November 18th, you’ll want to kick off the holiday season right by checking out the annual West Jefferson Holiday Parade on Saturday, November 18th. Head down as well to downtown West Jefferson by 3pm to check out local participants: bands, dance groups, churches, businesses, fire/rescue trucks, police cars and more participate in the parade each year. Santa will be there as well. Come be part of this annual community event!
