Mark your calendar for the 4th Annual Blowing Rock Music Festival, to take place Saturday, September 16th, rain or shine at The Blowing Rock. Hosted by the Blowing Rock Attraction and the Harris Brothers, this rollicking event features Americana, blues, folk, rock and jazz music.
You’ll hear an array of artists: headliners The Harris Brothers, Shelby Rae Moore, Soul Benefactor, Wayne Euliss at Elvis. Other featured performers include: Fly by Night Rounders with Abby the Spoon Lady, The Neighbors, Carolina Rae with Cecil Palmer, Carolina Gator Gumbo, Charlie Carpenter, Carolina Blue, Mitch and Masten, and The Midnight Plowboys.
The Blowing Rock Attraction is North Carolina’s oldest tourist attraction, officially established in 1933. The Blowing Rock itself is an immense cliff 4,000 feet above sea level overhanging Johns River Gorge 3,000 feet below, with a mystical history. It is one of the most popular places to visit in Ashe County.
