The 10th annual High Country Beer Fest, to take place on Saturday, August 26th, is a celebration of craft beer from around the region and the world. This is a 100% nonprofit event that benefits the Appalachian State University (ASU) Fermentation Sciences, as well as other local nonprofit organizations.
Attendees are invited to sample outstanding beers and delicious food in the beautiful high country of North Carolina. Educational seminars will cover aspects of beer tasting, brewing, and food pairing.

Beer and Pizza Pairing
Hang out with the folks from Mellow Mushroom and enjoy craft beer paired with craft pizza.
Beer and Cookie Pairing
Enjoy the sweeter side of beer and cookie pairings with our friends at the Appalachia Cookie Company.
Besides sampling great brews, there will be a variety of food trucks on hand and music from bands such as Earleine, Flow Tribe, and Mission in the Rain.
