Celebrate the start of summer with the traditional music for which the High Country is renowned. Joe Shannon's Mountain Home Music's Memorial Day Weekend Concert has become an annual tradition in Boone, a wonderful way to experience Appalachian culture.
On Sunday, May 28th, the Original Mountain Home Bluegrass Boys (MHBB) will headline the start of another year of great concerts for 2017, with a tribute to all those Americans who paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the armed forces. In addition, the wonderful youth band Cane Mill Road will open the concert.
The Mountain Home Bluegrass Boys have been a mainstay with Mountain Home Music for over 20 years. Joe Shannon's Mountain Home Music is a proud member site of the Blue Ridge Music Trails of North Carolina (blueridgemusicnc.com).
