Check out the array of events at the annual July 4th Celebration at Ashe County Park to take place this coming Tuesday. The celebration starts at 3:00pm, when the gates to Ashe County Park will open to the public and the Ashe County Parks & Recreation Staff will begin parking vehicles at that time. A shuttle bus will run from the new courthouse parking lot beginning at 3:30 PM and will run again at the end of the fireworks show.
Here’s a rundown of activities and events:
The band, Alibi, will play several live music sets beginning at approximately 4:30 PM at the Russ Blevins Shelter area.
There will be inflatables for the kids to play on ($5 for an all-day wristband).
Hamburgers/hot dogs/bottled water/soft drinks will be available at the Russ Blevins Shelter concession stand, and a couple of specialty vendors will be located in the park to include gourmet jerky, cotton candy, and Italian ices.
The fireworks show will begin at dark.
