It’s Halloween season and here’s a chance to experience Boone's immersive, first-ever haunted trails!!
Starting in October, every Friday and Saturday, head over to the Daniel Boone Amphitheatre at the Hickory Ridge Museum. There you’ll be taken back in time to a period in Boone when settlements were first being formed in the High Country during times of hardship and war.
Test your courage in this chilling, spooky, looking-over-your-shoulder-style journey. Grab a friend--you will not want to be in these woods alone at night.
Become part of the action as you follow Joshua, a colonial captain, after he makes a horrible mistake that brings a curse upon a small settlement deep in the Appalachian Mountains. Unlock the mysteries behind the curse and find out the fate of Joshua and the settlers as you live out their nightmare. Journey back in time and choose your path as you wander down dark, desolate pathways…. if you make it through the settlement of the infected!
The trail will be open from 8-11. You’ll be able to sample delicious brews, food, and live music in the open, outdoor beautiful space that the Daniel Boone Amphitheatre has to offer.
Parents take note: There will be a KID FRIENDLY event as well. This will take place every Friday and Saturday in October from 6-7:30. We will have a scavenger hunt, interactive games, pumpkins, prizes and a Bounce House.
