Mt. Jefferson Geology Rocks! (Hike)
On this hike you’ll witness several types of geological formations on the Rhododendron Trail. Topics such as metamorphic formations, soil acidity, and intrusive quartz will be discussed. This is a one-mile round trip hike along the ridge of Mt. Jefferson. Sturdy shoes and winter coat are recommended.

Underground Railroad Hike
Traverse the history of Mount Jefferson with a ranger and travel back in time to uncover the story of Mt. Jefferson and the Underground Railroad. The folklore and history of the area will be discussed during a hike along the mountain ridge. This is a one-mile round trip hike along the ridge of Mt. Jefferson. Sturdy shoes and winter coat are recommended.

You’ll meet with the ranger to take a look at the types of animals and birds that call Mt. Jefferson Home. Various skulls and animal furs will be available for you to see and touch.
