This January, don’t hibernate...check out the 20th Annual Blowing Rock WinterFest, January 25-28, 2018 and enjoy the fun side of winter. This Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce event has something for everyone—four fun-filled days and nights of activities, including the icy Polar Plunge in Chetola Lake, WinterFeast, WinterPaws Dog Show, Winter Fashion Show, Winter Beer Garden and more.

Shop until you drop
From Thursday – Sunday, shop in Blowing Rock’s quaint downtown boutiques and Tanger Outlet Shoppes on the Parkway. Blowing Rock offers an abundance of shopping possibilities from art galleries to fine antiques, apparel to bookstores, home decor and yard art to locally made provisions, sunglasses to mittens, you can find it all here!
In addition to shopping stroll through Blowing Rock and see all the gorgeous ice sculptures! Travis Dale, owner of Artisan Ice Sculptures is one of only five Master Ice Carvers in the United States. He is displaying custom ice creations at several businesses in town. Creativity abounds with his sculptures.
Rotary Charity Chili Challenge
Taste chili from different non-profit organizations and “vote” for your favorite with your dollar in their tip jar. All proceeds go directly to the charities. LIVE music from “The Lucky Ones.”
The Chili Challenge will be located at the Blowing Rock School Gym. Tickets sold at the door. $8 for adults (12 and up), $5 for kids (5 and up). Under 5, free!
BrrrrAHM – Free Admission!
Take the “brrrr” out of the chill and visit the Blowing Rock Art and History Museum (BRAHM) on Saturday, Jan 27th to enjoy FREE admission. Stop in, warm up, and tour the exhibits.
