The New River Blues Festival in Ashe County is an event that pays homage to the authentic greats of the most expressive and wonderful of all American roots music. Check out fun-filled day that celebrates and promotes African-American legends, elders and luminaries who have lighted the way for other American roots musicians who follow in their footsteps. And you’ll be able to dance to world-class music in a mountain meadow located by the beautiful New River.

And celebrating the 30th anniversary of The King Bees!
Bring lawn chairs, blankets, the kids, umbrellas (rain or shine)! No coolers or pets are allowed lawn.
MO’s BBQ, a High Country favorite, will be serving BBQ pork, brisket, ribs, and chicken. Sides will include baked beans, peaches, homemade coleslaw, and potato salad. A vegetarian option will also be available.
